Arrhythmias refer to excessively fast or slow heart rates –
any irregularity of the heartbeat. It is a common heart disorder
that is a consequence of coronary artery disease, valvular heart
disease and heart failure, and can cause a further deterioration
of these conditions.
At the UConn Health Center, specialists have expertise diagnosing and treating both fast and slow arrhythmias. Advanced medicine and devices, such as
