Mitral Valve Prolapse Project |
|
Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) affects 5 to 10% of the
general population, and it is the most common cause of
isolated severe mitral regurgitation. Our Division of
Cardiology, in collaboration with Massachusetts General
Hospital at Harvard University School of Medicine, is
recruiting patients for a clinical study to define the
genes responsible for this condition, while using state-of-the-art 3D technology to improve the diagnosis.
- If you are interested in participating in this
study, see our
clinical trials page for more information.
