Lectures & Seminars for Professionals
Physicians and researchers with the Pat and Jim Calhoun
Cardiology Center offer a wide variety of educational programs
and grand rounds for medical professionals. Throughout the year,
Health Center faculty and faculty from other hospitals and
academic medical centers share state-of-the-art information
about the latest advances in cardiovascular care.
Recent topics have included: the evaluation of the therapy
for heart disease; atrial fibrillation pathogenesis and
prevention; lipid mediators in vascular biology and more.
Grand rounds are sponsored by the University of Connecticut
School of Medicine, Office of Continuing Education.
